Effective stakeholder management
I am experienced at working at the most senior level, building trusted relationships with a diverse portfolio of stakeholders. One example of a trusted relationship which led to extraordinary outcomes was my time as a senior member of the Royal Household where I was responsible for all aspects of HM The Queen’s relationship with the Armed Forces.
As Defence Services Secretary from 2010-2012 I was responsible for planning all military elements of HM The Queen’s Diamond Jubilee, all military ceremonial involvement in the London 2012 Olympic Games and all ceremonial aspects of the 2011 Royal Wedding. Overseeing 5,000 staff, these events were viewed by over 100 million people worldwide.
