Awards and recognition
Throughout my career I have been recognised for my work at a national level.
My awards include:
Commander of the Royal Victorian Order (CVO). An award conferred personally by HM The Queen, in recognition of my work supporting her Jubilee and the 2012 Royal Wedding.
Officer of the Order of the British Empire (OBE), awarded for my work during UK military operations in Kosovo.
Member of the Order of the British Empire (MBE), awarded for leadership on operations in Bosnia.
Other awards include UK military medals for my operational work in Northern Ireland and Sierra Leone and international medals from the UN and NATO for my contribution in Bosnia.
